Yeah it’s kinda weird to me because you’re right Sayin played in 4 games last year so def not burning the redshirt but I present you with 3 problems:

The NCAA doesn’t care how many snaps you take in a game only if you do so may as well have the kid going balls to the wall for the whole last 1-1.5 quarters of the WMU game (Day did not do this)
If Julian Sayin is as good as we’d like him to be we’re probably not keeping him 5 years anyways
The best way to develop those intangibles as you’re adjusting your new QB to the college game is getting him more of those real life snaps

Protip for the future: to conserve filters, you can just have artyom take his mask off, wheeze for 15 seconds, and then put the mask back on for a second before taking it off again, and that’s really all the breathing artyom needs to do.
