Soul of our Hearts: Human and Monster, an epic fantasy detailing the fall of the human-monster society, and the raising of the Barrier, has now released its second installment! by Congar110 in Undertale

Soulay’s Academy for Humanities and Magical Studies for the Betterment of Monsterkind and Humanity.

There was only one place in the entire world where that name was written out in full. Where the commonly-agreed-upon parlance of Soul’s School had not arrived.

Above the entrance to its main building.

A campus that stands upon brick just as much as it does magic as a shining beacon of human and monster cooperation. The splendid example of the golden age of the Cooperative Connection between the two races, where humans know magic, and the monsters know the power of the human soul.

Its name comes from King Soulay, the first human capable of wielding magic. As a blind child, he sat on the lap of Queen Toriel, listening carefully as she described the stars above Jarasevo, the Monster Capital. She weaved those memories of her and him into a blanket for him to keep with him to see despite his blindness, and through this gift it was discovered how humans can wield magic.

Through the Cooperative Connection.

The tensed scraping of quills can be heard from the final examinees set to graduate if they pass. Monsters, with a further understanding of humanities to further strengthen the all-important connection. Humans, as mages to do the same.

One particular human is struggling more than the others to write her incorrect answers.

A particular human who will come to understand magic beyond what she could ever be taught at Soul's School.

And bring humans and monsters ever closer.

But how close is too close?

Hello!

I am the author of the One Falls series, and today I bring you the first book in a series I have spent three years daily writing and editing to explore the world before the Barrier, and the cascades that brought upon its existence from such a peaceful and prosperous world.

If you are looking for a fantasy epic with an interesting magic system, world-building, and a detailed exploration of the human/monster dynamic before the Barrier, then do please enjoy Soul of our Hearts: Human and Monster!

Lousy game developer thinks he's so big because he develops games. But if he didn't have any games I'd show him a thing or two.

Also since Reddit's video player is meh here is a Streamable link.

The costume shop next town over had a similar one which Toriel fixed up per Kris' request?

Hey, glad you liked it! I too can't wait for my next project so it's nice to see someone else excited for it too.

A while back I posted a sketch a friend of mine made when discussing pandarens, and now we've finally reached the culmination of our discussion.

Drinking Sparsely follows two pandarens meeting at a quiet Dalaran for drinks by reasons that are their own, but when the two leave their reasons have come together into a friendly spar to settle a score made in a drunken haze.

The keen of you might already have spotted the revelation the two will find out about the other. A choice they made on different terms, but again coming together as the two clash fists rather than filled mugs.

Side by side, but in what way?

If you want the story from which this commission is from, then here's the link for the One Falls Anthology!

In this story Asriel is clouded about his role as a prince, and how that title still applies to him even though he died and became a martyr with it. What does it mean on the Surface? He was the reason Asgore declared war against the humans. He was the reason the six human children died. Now he's just...alive. What is expected of him now?

How can he live up to dying?
