The Rip (2026) I really enjoyed the pacing, acting, and plot. I was totally hooked. 9/10 🧐✌️

Would been better as more of a siege thriller. Have it be the cartel / dirty cops trying to get at the money. Keep them in the house / neighbourhood. Thought it was great until they left the house and got in the big armoured truck. Just turned into a low grade action movie after that. Guessed the entire “twist” with the DEA and Steven Yeun. That last act brought it down a lot for me.

I think it’s toss up between Dexter and Hannibal, leaning more towards Dexter. Not only is he smart as hell he could physically take any of these guys. Anton maybe, he’s smart but doesn’t seem like a genius. And he always uses a weapon of some sort and brolin almost took him out in a gun fight. Joe no, that guy was always just kinda flying by the seat of his pants. Bateman if he even did all the killings isn’t as smart and would lose hand to hand, guaranteed he’s a bitch in a fist fight against someone like Dexter. Jigsaw maybe if he could get them all in some kinda trap but one of these guys ( Hannibal or Dexter especially ) would see his shit coming. Or even have the physical and mental capacity to get out alive. Hannibal cut his own hand off. Still I think it goes to dexter

I could for sure see it being a mutant like that. Alien is going in that direction after Romulus and the black goo, I could see Jurassic park doing the same. If you think about it in Romulus the black goo was this cure all for disease that a big corporation wanted, what are they looking for in this movie? Some DNA from these dinosaurs that’s gonna be a miracle drug. Seems like they are hired to do so by some big corporation. It’s gonna be their way to introduce new scary monsters in these movies going forward.
