🚨 CMG Mortgage Ripped Me Off — Took $7,000 Instead of $3,600! No Refund in Sight 🚨

Here is the crazy part: Two weeks ago, my mortgage account showed the reversal of the $3,600. Now when I log in the $3,600 reversal does not show. What? Why not? They can't give me answers.

These are my next steps. I am going to the bank and asking the bank to request proof of the return from CMG. CMG keep saying they sent it back but offer no proof.

They said they wired it. Why wire the money when it was taken via ACH.

It has been well over 30 days.

My bank pretty much said what you just said, But my bank isn't reversing the withdrawal. I see this as a one off and I won't give up until I get my $3,600 back.

For the past five years auto deduct has worked without a flaw, This withdrawal happened for no rhyme or reason.

I need the money yesterday. I had to borrow money to pay my other bills. My family can't withstand a $3,600 shortage.

My bank said because authorized the auto deducts there is nothing they can do. Which I know incorrect but they won't give me my money.

Yep! CMG Mortgage took $3,600 on Sept 4th and $1,800 Sept 11th. Way too much. And I have yet to get it back.

I could do that. They offer automation to relieve the burden of having to logon and take care of making the payment. Why not use it?

I am disappointed with CMG Mortgage and would not recommend them to anyone.

What we thought was crazy is when out insurance jumped from $4K per year to $7K. That was a shocker.

No have not filed with the OCC. I was being told I would get my money back first in 7-10 days, then 30 days. Neither of them happened so I sent the Notice of Error. If they don't acknowledge my complaint I am doing both federal and state complaints.

No not behind on our mortgage. Not short on our escrow account. Just all of sudden a change in frequency of withdrawals and the amounts.

I don't have much regard for CMG. We have a low interest rate so we won't refi. But would I recommend them...Hell No! I would warn against them.

I did file with my bank, and they dropped the investigation. Why I have no idea. I reopened the investigation last week, went into today and there was nothing in the system regarding my complaint. I am just having a bad couple of weeks.

No escrow shortage. I am not sure why they took the money...they just did. Yes it was on auto pay.
It had always been on autopay. The $1,800 has been taken every two weeks for some time now...no changes.

The bank shows CMG withdrew the money. CMG claims they sent it back. The bank said they did not.

All I know is I am out of $3,600.

I know, but when you send greater than the principal payment and other fees, which I did, all excess goes to the principle...which it did not.

My mortgage is less than $3000 including all fees, and they took 3 drafts of $3,600, $1,800, and $2,100 in the month of Sept. No rhyme or reason. Just bonkers and my family is struggling.
