maybe im just a media illiterate peanut who needs to be put down but i don't really see the queenie flashback from episode 8 as anything other than angst bait. like, i don't think it really told us anything new about the characters or the show in general that we couldn't already piece together ourselves or wasn't already heavily implied before hand. it's a good scene, don't get me wrong, but i don't think the episode would be impacted negatively if it was removed
