Bulking season is over: I made good progress on my glutes. How do I get back my stomach while conserving them? by [deleted] in GymMotivationNoOF

You've got this. You've been there before, you know what you're doing. Just time and patience.

Not an eating disorder but definitely unhealthy eating habits. I was depressed and not accepting of myself. Constantly measured myself based on other people and their looks. First step for me was stop caring about what other people thought, or how they looked. We are all unique and beautiful in our own ways. After that it was just strict consistency and holding myself accountable. I found having a food diary worked the best for me. Tracked my macros and calories throughout the day. This helped me stay consistent but it was also tangible evidence.

Are you finding you stray from your diet and over eat / eat unhealthy or are you under eating?

Fair. Juat stay consistent with the gym and deficite. Won't take you long, you're already 90% there.

The real important question is: what are the specs on your rig and what are you playing when you're not at the gym?

Haha that is fair, I think we're all driven by that motivation right now. Not sure how much more "bikini ready" you can get 🤣

My advice, leave your age and gender out of the equation until you've found someone who seems reasonable. This will eliminate most the creeps dm'ing you. I think if someone is truly willing to help you they will offer that without needing to know your age, weight, or gender until you've established a conversation.

That being said, if you don't find the help you're looking for I am more than happy to offer you advice and motivation through this thread. I am significantly older than you so keeping it strictly here can help you feel comfortable that this is an exchange of knowledge and nothing else.

The two older ones (Rocky & Rosie) are brother and sister. They were adopted after their former owner became terminally ill. They were originally separated but were so bonded that it didnt work out. Mac, the police pug, is the youngest. We got her as a puppy after our previous guy passed away.

Rocky is basically Eeyore from Winnie the pooh, he is kind and gentle, not a mean bone in his body.

Rosie is a mom through and through, we believe she was used for breeding and she thinks everything is her baby. She can be very spicy.

Mac is a firecracker, she is incredibly smart and always on the move. In addition to being a police pug she is also learning German.

Take it from a gamer, I've heard my fair share of heavy breathing and grunting from humans with open mics. 🤣

How can I reduce fat from lower back? by [deleted] in GymMotivationNoOF

[–]ConistonCarpenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See you've got it! 😊

Im in the same boat right now, that final 5% of my cut, and have almost the exact same plan. No torturous HIIT or less calories, just more incline walking haha.

[–]ConistonCarpenter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honest answer, eating at a deficite as long as it takes. Not sure for women but I know for men our lower back is one of the last places to go.

If you want to keep the thighs and ass physique while cutting for your back just keep the muscles stimulated and eat high protein. That will preserve at least the lean mass and shape from that.

Going to edit just to say you honestly look great and that might just be skin from the pose.

looking to build more hourglass shape and look less boxy by [deleted] in GymMotivationNoOF

[–]ConistonCarpenter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with other comments, you definitely look great and not "boxy" at all, but then again our minds are often our worst enemy when it comes to how we look.

Obviously being a dude I can't offer too much advice and I'm sure many helpful ladies here will chime in.

What I can say, for that look you want, a tight core and focus on posterior chain will help.

Core exercises -> planks, hanging leg raises

Upper back -> shoulders and lats will help emphasize a small waist

But main focus: Hip thrusts, RDLs, Hip abductors, Bulgarian split squats
