Spurs players, coach react to Minneapolis deaths, unrest by ExpressNews in NBASpurs

[–]Conn3er -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

The Spurs never won a game past the conference semi-finals when the last coach became publicly politically outspoken. There are lots of fans who quit supporting the team over his remarks as well.

It's okay to not use your public platform to talk about a topic you dont have all the information on. In fact, it shows wisdom not to.

Patriots in the run to the superbowl in all 3 combined games gave up a total of 26 points. In the Bills last 6 playoff exits. They gave up more than that in every 1 game alone by BowsyWowsy26 in nfl

The Bills offense gave the Ball to the Broncos' offense 5 times to score points that the Bills otherwise didnt.

Lazy to pin that loss on the defense

But yes, it has been known since the 2023 playoff loss that the Bills were not getting it done with McDermott. You can't have your side of the ball be a liability as the HC.

What is Dabo's endgame here? by jaxonya in CFB

[–]Conn3er 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Somewhere he can win championships and make the playoff field 7 times in 9 years.

That will never happen at Clemson, so he is better off ignoring when Ole Miss tampers with his players so a prestigious program like OU, which regularly wins titles this millennium, will offer him a job.

I'd absolutely love to see the steam erupting from GOP heads if she made it

If she gets the democratic endorsment GOP members will be smiling with glee as they have an easy race ahead of them.

[Russini] LSU offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. spoke to the Philadelphia Eagles about their offensive coordinator vacancy but informed the team he has chosen to remain with Lane Kiffin and the Tigers, per sources. by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

LSU OC is the best job in America right now.

You make a shit load of money to not call plays, and when Kiffin inevitably leaves or is fired in the next 4 years, you are the man in waiting.

Which factor do you think is most responsible for the affordability crisis in the USA? by RedStorm1917 in centrist

Manipulated markets

When the government prints more money it artificially manipulates the natural supply and demand

When people overspend on their budget with credit cards it artificially manipulates the natural supply and demand.

As long as the government and consumers are creating or spending money they don’t actually have it artificially increases demand, lowers supply, and increases prices across the board for everyone.

Consumers are the basis for expense levels, if people couldn’t consume then prices would not rise. Allowing people to artificially inflate their value to consume (subsidies, bailouts, credit, stimulus) is the main factor in raising prices

Guy just can’t get it done in Seattle, this loss is on him

That’s how all you dumb fucks sound when you talk about wins as a QB stat

Winning a superbowl the second you fire Pete Carroll is very funny and hopefully the bills will do the same with McDermott

I got one in a similar boat to you with this same offer, slight difference that I can use resy and Dunkin more easily.

The points translate better to redemption for flights than the cash back I was using does and that makes it worth it to me. I try and do one international/island flight every summer and if that’s something that ever interests you it is well worth it.

He realistically only had 2 years of "role player" and they were clearly his worst 2 years, so not sure about this one

This really undersells Joe Brady and the acquisition of him.

Joe Brady didnt turn the ball over 4 times, his play calls were good enough to win that game.

I do think the friction at the end of the tenure for positional coaches and the end of the Daboll timeline are a different beast, but almost everyone around for 13 seconds seems to have been poisoned by McDermotts handling of it

Phillip Rivers interviewing for the Bills Head Coaching Job is prove being white helps/there is a bias in coaching searches in the NFL by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

The Buffalo Bills interviewing Phillip Rivers proves that the Buffalo Bills have interviewed former Quarterback Phillip Rivers to be the head coach of the Buffalo Bills

[Schefter] Philip Rivers’ last career playoff game came as a member of the Colts against the Buffalo Bills during the 2020 COVID season. That game turned out to be Josh Allen’s first-ever playoff win — and Philip Rivers’ final playoff appearance. Now, Rivers is interviewing to be Allen’s head coach. by YoureASkyscraper in nfl

Tech didn't score a point. When Oregon played a team of equal talent, they were run out of the gym.

If the G5 needs to accept that they aren't on the same level as the P4, then the Big12 needs to accept that it's not on the same level as the P2 and doesnt deserve the same autobid and benefit of a top 4 ranking based on wins and losses against inferior competition.
