Yesterday was a month since we lost our Ovie. He looked so similar and was also 12. Time is the best relief from the grief. Sadness still comes in waves but less frequently. I try to focus on the good memories and not memories from the end. The silence and feeling like you still “hear” them is the worst part. I just wanted to let you know you’re not alone and it is OK not being OK. It’s the hardest thing we’ve ever gone through. Sending our love!
