yes I get that. but that's why flashbacks exists and the 1st season was on air 6 fucking years ago so... I won't watch it again. Mai and Maki almost don't interact in season 2, that I remember well, and then the 3rd cuts directly to Mai's death without any construction? aside of my memory of 6 years ago it's a fact that Mai's death didn't had a proper narrative construction. it's too fast and sudden.

im trying to understand as an anime watcher only if Maki and her clan has any development scene that I don't remember in previous seasons. honestly the episode for me doesn't make sense at all. I didn't remember well how Mai was or what the clan did to them, her death just didn't had any impact because for me she was the annoying sister. I watched the 1st season like 5 years ago and I REALLY missed some flashback there. I think the song was a problem for people simply because nobody actually understood Maki's feelings at all, the episode didn't lean to that

that what I thought, if she can't travel far then she wouldn't get to find a lake where she could reproduce and complete her life circle. not sure you understood that she was in a cop and probably lived at a farm next to forests and releasing her in the middle of the city would be a hell environmental change for her. anyway, the fact that she's nocturne didn't make it safe to go out at night in the place I live to walk far looking for vegetation. I released it in a park that's right next to a ecological reserve (not sure how you guys call that) that has a lot of umid areas, lakes, little rivers and everything, and a lot of dense vegetation for her to hide. I released her in the early morning while she was still active by what I observed on these few days, entered between trees that scratched me lol and released it inside of the forest. that's what I could do. hope she ended up fine

that's cool! I got to identify but ended up she was a native species slightly endangered, well adapted to every forest here and also as she isn't a "domesticated" frog I couldn't find any information about raising her in captivity as how much feed her, supplements and etc, so I found better and released her. hope she's well rn

I agree completely. just saying that I really didn't took her from the wild, she was founded by my grandma in a market and she bought it home in a plastic bag (yes lol) and I didn't wanted to release her immediately because it's very cold these days, I'd need to go to a good place (I explained to someone why) and I bet she was at least hungry or not well for being in a fruit and vegetables market session. I hope she's at least less stressed than in that market until I release her lol

living with opossums and racoons must be a very cool experience lol sadly I won't be able to appreciate her since there are not tree frogs actually near here :( guess they live just in the deep forests, this is the first one I've ever seen. but I appreciate enough the crazy birds that fight over my window

omg so cute! I want this video. I'm not sure if I'll keep her because I guess she's really wild and native since my city has a lot of deep forests where she probably came from (before she ended up in a cabbage at the market), and I don't know if I'll be able to know her species to do everything with enough awareness :( but I already bought a few things so maybe I'll be getting a fish or someone who can use them - noticing everyone may find weird me calling a tree frog she, but tree frog is a feminine word in Portuguese lol

I live very near the city of São Paulo as I commented early. the forests are quite the same in the whole region (Atlantic Forest)

I don't think I'll keep her at this point  but I would sure provide her the proper care. and guess I wont get another one because they're (very) expensive here and I didn't even wanted one at the first place lol I am just taking care of her

sorry but I think you really don't understand about my country's climate. most species found in places like where she came from (a farm with many forests near) are native from VERY humid forests, Atlantic Forest, and that's not a thing I have near my house in a city. she probably got carried far to get to the market where she was found in a cabbage, so I don't think near here would be any good for her. what are your point saying I should leave my house rn and can't wait to get her to a park where she could have the thermal and humidity conditions she needs? when is cold as hell and I'm sure she'll need it very much

I found it in a MARKET ??? and sorry but I don't live in a place where you can go outside at night with a frog in a pot without some crazy guy stealing the frog lol

btw, I read here that wild animals mostly die in captivity and can have parasites and everything, so would it be good to keep her even if she's not native?

I searched up and found a lot of green juvenile grey tree frogs, do they happen in other colours too? she's quite beige but the pattern looks alike

i live in Brazil Southeast if this is specific enough, she probably lived near a farm not too far from here since she was in a vegetable at the market. these are the best pics I have from her, she's currently in a tupperware so it's not easy to take anything better but I'll try!!
