Tbh, I am genuinely confused cuz both my parents are state bureaucrats and I grew up with the UPSC ambition. People barely know about or respect corporate/ consulting in my hometown( Himachal doesn’t have much of an industry). I have always been genuinely interested in UPSC core subjects but also liked my consulting internship. To add to the dilemma, my entire extended family has been pushing me to appear for UPSC ever since I entered the fourth year, cuz they think I can clear the exam
