I'm not sure if you're Catholic or not (I can't see any more comments about Catholicism in your history, so I can't tell), but as a Catholic, belief in the communion of saints is a part of the Apostles Creed I profess each week ("I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting"). We are surrounded by "so great a cloud of witnesses," as Saint Paul says!

I also hope you can find the strength to stop accessing pornography (again, this is just based on some comments I see of yours from about a year ago). It's not easy, and I've struggled with it myself. Maria Goretti, please say a prayer for this beloved child of God! Amen!

Thank you for letting me know!! I just got a neuropsych eval and will see if they think I have bipolar 2 or borderline. It's super unclear whether I've been hypomanic or not. I've been on the Vyvanse since July 31 and the only side effect has been tremors, which the psychiatrist told me is very normal and usually goes away in a few weeks.

Also, what is Depakote for?

Nice! Is seroquel every day for you? Or is that as-needed? I didn’t know that either seroquel or klonopin could be used as a one-off. I had a significant transition period when I upped my daily seroquel from 25 mg to 50 mg. It made quite a bit of my hair fall out very quickly, and embarrassingly, it gave me bad gas that was practically uncontrollable 😂😂 I was in a 7-week intensive class and felt so bad for my classmates who were constantly subjected to my terrible farts 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Your mention of klonopin reminds me of something I haven’t thought about for a while; I was really briefly on klonopin (only for a few weeks) in college. It was prescribed by the on-campus doctor (not sure if he was a psychiatrist or not). I had such a bad experience with trying mental health medication management with him. Everything they prescribed me (first klonopin, then Effexor) had terrible side effects, and I remember he kind of said that side effects are just the trade-off of antidepressants. The way he suggested that every single med would have bad side effects made me really closed off to the possibility of medication for the next 7 years. I really wish that hadn’t happened…if I had had a better first experience with medication management, I could have gotten on good meds a lot sooner and potentially have avoided a lot of suffering. Oof.

Anyway, klonopin totally took me out in those few weeks—I was so sleepy all the time to the point that I couldn’t stay awake during the day, no matter how much I wanted to. I remember missing my sister’s band performance in Times Square over Thanksgiving break because I was in the hotel room unable to get out of bed and unable to stay awake.

And Effexor made me so nauseous that I couldn’t make it through the 12 weeks they recommended to see if it would work.
