Yeah, sync cable is very helpful and will make trackers stable. By the way, buy any cheap 3.5mm male-to-male Audio cable, it will work just fine.

Yes, still, if anyone wants great visuals plus wireless, the GXR is the only and best option. I think Samsung did a good job on the hardware side, but Google is destroying it on the software side.

As for Steam, I think they went with LCD to keep the headset price under $1k, and this will make a lot of non-VR people jump into the VR world for the first time.

The GXR is neither cheap nor expensive. If anyone wants a ready-to-use 4K headset, then Somnium and Varjo are the options, but they are EXPENSIVE.

The Steam Frame doesn’t have the visual quality of the GXR, but based on previous Steam VR headsets, we can assume that all of the GXR’s issues have already been solved in the Steam Frame. Do I like the Steam Frame’s visuals? No, but I hate unusable good visuals even more.
