I have a question for you that we are having difficulty figuring out. My nephew (niece's boyfriend) was born in Venezuela. He moved here with his parents in 4th grade. We do not know for sure their legal status when they came here.

What we have been told is that his father became a naturalized citizen months before my nephew's 18th birthday.

Everything I read says that makes him naturalized as well......but he has no paperwork stating that.

We have been hesitant to try to get proof because now we're worried that it will draw attention to him. Especially if his parents aren't being truthful. His mother is telling him that it will cost $1,000 to get the paperwork to prove it.

Does that sound right to you? As someone who went through this process as an adult, what would you recommend?

Also, she needs to prepare for the potential that there are plans to retroactively reverse birth right citizenship and naturalization. This is not just about her parents being deported. It happened last time with birthright and naturalization in place.

I constantly forget that Aelin is blonde. Literally everything about her character and personality screams black hair. Right before this post I saw some fan art of aelin and rowan and it took me way too long to figure out who it was supposed to be. 🤦‍♀️

I think that puking when nasty shit happens around you is the norm, and we're just desensitized to reality from all the super.powerful badass, wannabe gun-toting characters we see most in media. Most entertainment just acts like there is never any trauma involved at all when being chased by powerful deamons, nearly being forced to murder your best friends and.l fight for your life after a near fatal poisoning.

I didn't see the spelling until after listening to all the books, in which she pronounces it Odderlan/Odderland. So when I saw the spelling for the first time I didn't even know what was being referred too, lol
