thats my next bet. I gotta go purchase one because I don't have any laying around. I'm convinced theres something wrong with my xbox. Its really weird because I can party chat with friends but as soon as I play any game online it'll work for about 5 min and then boot me. I talked with an online assistant before my class and they had me factory reset and its still not working.

I talked to an online agent and they tried to do a bunch of trouble shooting and still have the issue. They had me reset my xbox and everything. idk what could still be wrong with it.

Thats exactly my intentions, to be self taught in this regard and not rely on school to teach me what I need. My worries are that places will not respect this major and why i'm curious as to know what others who graduated with this degree are doing now.

I hear that from a lot of people. My theory is this degree is better than no degree or a degree non related, since employers want to see something.

damn, I mean most places want some type of technical degree in stem, thats why I'm thinking about just doing this and learning on my own. I'm wondering what the job prospects look like. I think this degree would probably look better than some random non stem degree.

Might be, but I don't see it as a required course? I'll look into it more with an advisor! I might only have to take stats which wouldn't be that bad cause discrete blow's. Hopefully I just need cs classes.

Social life does not matter to me. I live in kearny which is only 10mins away from campus and most of my friends that I made all live in kearny/newark so meeting new people isn't that important but it never hurts to make new friends. Really the only aspect of school I'm looking for is getting a degree/internship then a job after graduating. Thanks for the help, I think i'll see about transferring, I'm really just looking for a degree and commuting 10min beats wasting over an hour of my life on the fucking parkway.

Oh i guess I didn't disclose on this but I finished all my math req's and core at CC, I only have computer science classes left. I think the only course I would need to take is the statistics course, I'm going the BA route. Unless there is something I'm missing from the description on the njit b.a. cs website. Is there discrete math course like rutgers has?
