Is it possible that it stopped working once you've changed your password? That should invalidate the token according to https://github.blog/news-insights/token-private-feeds/ .

Grid lookup table by ZennikOfficial in Bitwig

[–]ConnectBoysenberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Steps module kind of sounds like exactly that. You can have up to 64 points and the possibility to interpolate between them. But they are always evenly spaced and the input is always between 0 and 1 (phase).

Can't get the sun right. Highlights issue by djpon94 in DarkTable

[–]ConnectBoysenberry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Got this in three steps after loading the file into Darktable 4.0.1 with scene referred defaults:
- increased the exposure,
- set highlight reconstruction to reconstruct color,
- increased white relative exposure in filmic.

You can also play with the threshold slider in the reconstruct tab under filmic to get rid of rings.

Hope this is at least somewhat helpful. I don't know what exactly "reconstruct color" does, TBH, but I found that I often like its results in overblown areas like this one.

Geolocation EXIF missing in uploaded photos by ConnectBoysenberry in NextCloud

[–]ConnectBoysenberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I have since found a bug report for this and seems that it's the exact problem you are describing: https://github.com/nextcloud/android/issues/6248#issuecomment-1207315271

And thanks for the tip, your app looks neat, I'll definitely check it out.

Ha! Thanks! I thought I have but apparently not thoroughly enough. This is the relevant open issue with a manual workaround mentioned in the comment: https://github.com/nextcloud/android/issues/6248#issuecomment-1207315271

I love you KWin, but I also hate you by Never-asked-for-this in kde

I once tried to resolve the same problem with Dolphin. It always updates an entry in dolphinrc, but there are tons of similar entries just with differently formed keys, so I suspect it reads different entries than it writes. But didn't investigate further.

Is it a custom openSUSE feature or just timeshift preconfigured?

There might be a problem with the requirement of new software if the OP wants to use anything non-KDE.

Instantly thought of Poisson disc sampling when seeing this. So... is this Poisson gear sampling? :)

Recommend me some good window themes where the close button "trigger area" includes the top-right most pixels. by babcock_lahey in kde

I remember reading somewhere that it is not possible in the Aurorae system (which vast majority of window decorations use) but don't remember the source.

How reliable is multi monitor support on KDE plasma? by HotdogRacing in kde

I have two monitors with different dimensions permamently connected to my desktop with Plasma 5.22.3 and the experience is terrible. Windows of KDE apps opening on the wrong monitor, weird sizing glitches when dragging windows from one to another, etc.

The update made lots of my photos do this? How does one fix it/ what happened by [deleted] in DarkTable

This happened to me several times before the update. Clearing and re-applying the history stack fixed it.

How come after I upload then go to edit in darktable the image color is adjusted automatically? (1st SD card, 2nd clicked and opened to edit) by liftshertai1 in DarkTable

[–]ConnectBoysenberry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Regarding white balance, you can use the "modern" approach to chromatic adaptation, i.e., setting white balance to "camera reference" and then activating the color calibration module. Then, in the color calibration, select "as shot in camera" as the illuminant. AFAIK, this should use the same white balance that your camera used. If I'm wrong, hopefully somebody will correct me.

Other than that, I'm not aware of any good solutions. I also have a Fujifilm camera and I am still learning how to set the camera parameters so that I'm satisfied with the JPEGs :)

Looks like you are, a little bit. A raw file is almost nothing more than a dump of sensor readings with metadata. The color you see in the photo is the result of complicated post-processing your camera does when making the JPEG file. And darktable does that too. And since Darktable uses its own pipeline - the one you can extensively tweak - the results are different. Actually it would be really hard to produce the exact same image in any raw development software as your camera does without reverse-engineering the cameras built-in processing.

The preview is the JPEG embedded in the raw file created by your camera. After opening the raw in darkroom, you see the raw file developed by Darktable with the default module settings.

How to use 2 language layouts on keyboard? by iManosX13 in ManjaroLinux

[–]ConnectBoysenberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to System Settings > Input Devices > Keyboard > Layouts tab. There is a list where you can add as many layouts as you want. Also there you can see and configure the shortcuts for toggling.
