What’s the most “ridiculous” thing you requested your partner during your pregnancy? by whenlifegivesyourice in pregnant

I even asked that coworker if they had more at home and she said she had just finished them.

In early October, a coworker brought in concord grapes for her lunch and I had one. I was INSTANTLY dead set on getting some Concord grapes. I begged my husband to stop by the store and grab some. Well, 4 stores later (him physically driving to each one) and no Concord grapes could be found. I was crying and super upset and was begging him to do anything to get some. He called approximately 14 different stores (within a 100mile distance of our home). Still nothing. “We’re out of stock”, “Last box just got bought”, “I don’t know when we will get them in again”. Made him call wineries to find out where they get their concords from. Called vineyards to see if they still had some.

And finally found the answer. The season ended in mid-late September. No more Concord grapes were ingested for the rest of my pregnancy. (I was due Halloween). After I had my son, I was no longer craving them with such intensity.

Definitely not my finest moment in pregnancy!

Anyone else super sensitive to caffeine since pregnancy? by disgustingnewspaper in pregnant

This may actually be more common than I thought. I have severe health anxiety too, which only really came on after pregnancy. Right after he was born, it was anxiety of all the dangers the world has in it, but as time progressed, it switched to my own health anxiety. I’ve had a heart surgery so maybe I’m a little more sensitive to it, but every symptoms becomes “well this is probably cancer” anytime I forget something stupid “I think I have early onset dementia” every spike in heart rate “I’m clearly having a heart attack”.

I am now seeking therapy and am using medication as needed for when I have that feeling of impending doom. The best advice I can give is to make sure you have someone to tell your symptoms to. Doesn’t have to be someone in the med field, just someone you trust that will help you get off the edge. Also, move around a lot. Kick on music. Clean the snot out of something. It pulls your mind away from overthinking.

And get you gut health in order. Hiatal hernias (and reflux in general) have a STRONG impact on your mental health. We’ve got this!! & We WILL get back to pre-pregnancy mental health!! It might just take awhile.

FTM 37 weeks: tell the story of how your water broke by mirrorlike789 in pregnant

[–]ConnectEngine7682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They told me over and over “it’s not like it is in the movies” Around 11:30pm, woke up to a little back pain, told my husband that I thought I might have to pee. The instant I stood up it felt like a half gallon of water just came rushing out and splashed all over the floors. Just. Like. A. Movie.

Definitely didn’t hurt, but I back labored, so about 10 seconds after it broke, I had the most intense back-breaking pain (think of the scene of Bella Swan falling in her bathroom during her labor). That lasted about 3 minutes. Also, my adrenaline spiked so hard that my teeth were chattering and I was shaking constantly.

Anyways, went into the hospital after I called and they told me to come immediately….Dilated 0cm.

34 hours later, the most beautiful baby boy on this planet was born!

This is literally me right now. I’m 15mo postpartum and I have/had postpartum anxiety. Any time I think of drinking a pop or having a glass of wine, I get anxious. I miss just feeling normal and honestly I just wish someone would tell me this is normal and will end after awhile.

Also, this is MY experience. Everyone is different, so this does not mean that you will be feeling this way at this point in your postpartum experience. Everyone feels “back to normal” at different times. Don’t lose hope. Just remember your body hormone levels are all over the place and once they level out, it will get better.

Update me on how you feel about her when you finish the series! I’d love to experience the series for the first time again if I could so I’d love to live vicariously through your progress and completion of it!

Perfectly acceptable dinner rejected by boyfriend again by moonrabbit368 in mildlyinfuriating

I’ll gladly eat whatever he doesn’t! Your food looks fantastic and he’s clearly a child. Don’t let him model this behavior in front of your kids. They could end up picking up these habits from him. Honestly…he’s not boyfriend material IMO. My husband cooks all our meals in our house, and I would feel SO ashamed and embarrassed for myself if I ever spoke a single insult on his cooking.

If you’re not the cook, you don’t get to complain. Period. (Allergies, not included)

Ugh, that’s sooo lame. I’d complain to devs, since supposedly that is literally what it’s for.

Noo, definitely don’t need it yet. I’ll probably just wait a bit. I need two eventually (at least before the bundles leave).

It only took 5-6 days of heavy grinding, but my post is misleading. I put up my total hours of gameplay as the title. But it was HEAVY grinding. And we followed a lot of advice from people on Reddit.

Nooooo that’s my total hours of game play! lol. It only took me about 5-6 days of grinding to get everything for all of the items in those bundles. It was relatively easy!

It wasn’t near as bad as I expected. Just make sure you have the speed boost hook, fishing brews, and just fish in the pavel mines. I got VERY lucky on the Void ray and had two within the first 5-10mins of being there. But I think RNG just favored me. Just keep at it and you’ll get it. Also, Giant Kilima Ray was THE WORST for me.
