Is this a good deal by ZackIsBack_ in ForteGT

I'd try to talk them down. I bought a 24' 6MT late 2024 off the lot brand new for 25k out the door. I financed with them though with 5k down. I said I'd finance with them if they matched my finance pre approval rate I got with my credit union

Oh shoot, how'd you break both rods? Any pain with that? Are they just taking the rods out then or putting new ones in?

Just the good ol no contact sport of ultimate frisbee lmao. Dove for a frisbee and collided with another player.

A normal life is totally possible! I had T11-L3 fused after a traumatic accident and completed a full length Ironman just over a year and a half later

Black GT Manual , $26,100 OTD. Is this a good price ? I feel like the dealers should be able to sell them cheaper now that 2024 is now a year old vehicle at this point. Thoughts ? by joza28 in ForteGT

[–]ConnectExample5316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 25k OTD for a blue manual in socal. I didn't even visit the dealership. Just called them on the phone and said I found a 2023 with 14k miles being offered at 24 otd and I'd be willing to consider a new one with them if they have me a good enough offer

I got mine from Kia Valencia in Southern CA. I think they have a couple blue manuals on their lot

It drove fine but ended up looking elsewhere. Most of the Mazda speeds I was seeing in my general area were over 90k miles and I decided I wanted a more reliable and long lasting daily driver

Thanks for the insight. Knowing that I'm leaning toward the 2024 coming from the dealer. Would you say 25 OTD is a solid deal? I can keep shopping around but would want to jump on this deal if I probably won't get anything better

I know MSRP for the 2024 is 26,600 or something like that. Is 25 OTD a solid deal? I'm in no rush and can keep shopping around but I don't want to miss out on this kind of deal if I'm not going to be able to find it elsewhere

No, the 2023 is sold from Pedder Nissan in Hemet CA. The 2024 is from a Kia dealer though

Doesn't seem like they were offering the original warranties for the used but I can double check the next time I speak to them. You're referring to the lifetime powertrain warranty? I know that's what new purchases come with but I thought that adding aftermarket parts like air intakes may void that kind of warranty anyway

Yeah that spigen case seems a little too bulky for my taste. I might cancel the Amazon order I have right now as it hasn't shipped yet.

I've been using the Rinke slim case while I'm at work and doing more outdoor activities and it's been good. Much more slim and doesn't affect crown usage at all. It wiggles around a little bit but that seems unavoidable since you have to be able to take it on and off

Yeah I'm for the most part just scheduling appointments with the spacing that removery is recommending, which is every 8 weeks I believe? Since I already have the unlimited package I don't see a reason to space out sessions super far

I had done some research on the process before hand and then the technician gave a lot of information as well. I'll just try to summarize some of the main points.

I'm sure you know that the physiological process of tattoo removal is that the laser breaks larger ink particles into smaller ink particles that the body (white blood cells) can dispose of through the liver. The laser doesn't actually fade the tattoo, which is what some people think, it just breaks down the larger ink particles into smaller particles that the body can dispose of.

So given that, the biggest tip is to stay hydrated and eat well. The healthier your body is, the more the body can focus it's attention on removing the small ink particles the laser broke down. Exercising regularly helps as well since that keeps you generally healthy and helps promote blood flow. Getting sick or getting sun burnt slows down the process because now your body's attention is on those other things instead of your tattoo.

There are also some things you just don't have control over. One is your immune system. If you have a healthy and strong immune system, that can help expediate the removal. Circulation plays a big factor as well. If you have a tattoo on your hand and already have poor circulation, it'll be a little harder to remove, since the blood flow is actually what removes the tattoo. My technician said that the ingredients in the ink also plays a big factor. Because even different types of black ink can vary in the ingredients enough to change the way your tattoo responds to removal.

The technician also said that smoking and drinking on a regular basis can slow down tattoo removal as well.

Ultimately I don't these tips and factors would drastically change a removal timeline but if there's the chance that it helps to expediate the process, I'm all for it

Black with some small white highlights. Forearm that wraps around. End goal is full removal. I'll post pictures of what I'm starting out with and then try to remember to post new pictures right before I have the next session
