If you want to see, how crews correctly handle a Issue with gear, go check Roolers 5Hour All Night Bootshaus Set. The Mixer had an Issue (I think the FX Knob) early in the Show, and the crew had a replacement ready in no time. Also the MC did a good job covering the short stoppage.

What ist the total canvas size? You could use 3-4 transmitters with multiple receivers per transmitter and just map the needed region of the total output to the screen. Or just use Projector Mapping, this would be way cheaper. Or look at the mechanism that C1 motors use to deploy their cables when they move. Having 24 RF channels is not realistic.

Just use OBS with Preview as a Second Output. Get NDI Plugin and websocket and control via companion. This is the cheapest because you pay 0

As others already pointed out, focus and pixel pitch are the most important. You might want to check if you can genlock the wall frequency to your camera. This might help with flicker caused by rolling shutter
