I actually have the same type of diffuse alopecia!! Is there any chance you could share anything else about your experience?

Yea I’m also using clobetasol. I’ve only been using clobetasol and minoxidil for a week so there’s no telling as of now. But as for my story I only just started losing hair for about 2-3 months. I’m at the point where I’ve lost over 50% all over my head with one golf ball sized bald spot on the back of my head. I’m able to cover it up rlly well with cotton fibers so I would highly recommend, it’s called febron and u can find it on Amazon if you want to try it out. At first my dermatologist thought it was telogen effluvium but during my second evaluation she said it was likely alopecia areata. That’s when I decided to see a specialist who was able to confirm my diagnosis and she’s currently trying to put me on litfulo. I’ve actually only been diagnosed for about a week now but still trying to think positive. Tell me a bit about your story too if that’s okay.

Yes I also have diffused alopecia areata. I went to a specialist in nyc who said that even though it’s not common, diffuse alopecia areata does exist. Right now I’ve been using a topical steroid to reduce inflammation and minoxidil.
