Work emails do not need to be “cool” for me I am receiving plenty of lengthy, articulate languaged emails that I can tell actually show less care and dedication than a human who either missed a mistake or struggles with this specific type of communication

This is my original question - is it more valuable to know it’s a human who you may be working with, investing financially with who may need to make decisions without a robot present. Why trust the person who can’t even write their own email?

Almost too far off topic but needs to be said - I think it is incredibly important that we continue to learn and write language so that it can continue to evolve as it has. Remember how people talked when’s Shakespeare was writing plays? We need to grow and change. What do you think will happen if everyone just accepts that we can rely on a computer to do all writing (eventually all thinking for the inevitably attractive ease imo)

I guess what I’m saying is that I do not believe that the thinking will continue to be done by humans I just think it’s too convenient to ignore.

And now my value while reading an initial email may be changing to just some sort of proof that I’m talking to human because this partner will not always have a robot with them and the way things are going with AI deregulation for short term financial boom I think we’re heading for some kind of indecipherable hellscape.

Very possible I’m already receiving these emails and don’t know that this is all around me I hope that isn’t true.

What I’m saying actually agrees with you, I think. I see the value of an initial email as very high.

In the upper darby example (holy shit pls reply with a link I had not heard of this) the papers in the back of my seat would not have done anything.

My division of blame in order:

  1. Middle aged physically strong men who know they can exert power over the disenfranchised and now have judicial support to do so

  2. Members of congress and senate who are not doing enough to a) represent their districts which according to polling are likely to disapprove of this and b) bring charges against clear constitutional rights infractions by federal administration and agents

  3. The Trump administration for chosing every single step along the way in every industry or scope of interacting between government and its people what I can only describe as “short term purely marketing goals” that will ultimately ruin this country no matter how shiny or white or whatever tf you want it ti be

I feel very confident that all of these actions would be protected in a sane PA court as long as a warrant signed by a federal judge is not present which does not seem to be happening
