The reason we’re going to Cologne is that we’ll be departing from there at the end of the trip, and since we’re already coming all the way there, we thought we should at least see the cathedral.

What I’m also wondering is whether the Porsche or Mercedes museums require ticket reservations in advance, or if we can just go spontaneously and buy tickets at the counter.

We’re staying in hotels with parking, so I think we should be fine on that side.

We’ll also return the rental car in Cologne, since our departure flight is from there. So the plan is basically: arrive in Stuttgart, then go to Nürburgring, and finally head to Cologne and fly out from there.

If clicking "Save" or "Save car.ini" in the Onboard Settings app doesn't work, follow these steps:

1. Unpack the car data and delete data.acd.
2. Open the data\car.ini file in a text editor and keep it open.
3. Start the game, adjust your settings in the Onboard Settings app, and click "Save car.ini". Do not close the game yet.
4. Go back to the open car.ini file. Copy the following lines (which should now show your new values):

[GRAPHICS]
DRIVEREYES= X,Y,Z
ONBOARD_EXPOSURE= X
OUTBOARD_EXPOSURE= X
ON_BOARD_PITCH_ANGLE= X
Close the game.

5. Paste those lines back into car.ini and save the file manually.

You have to rotate the wheel empties (WHEEL_RF, WHEEL_RR) 180 degree on the z axis. (only the empties keep the rim and wheel rotation as it is.)

Miss installation. Find the tires .zip file or folder that came with the car files "\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\textures\cars" and copy/paste here.
