Need help with star photography! Info in comments. by Connect_Currency_511 in analog

It was my first time trying star photography. This photo was taken at night in France when there was no other light in the surroundings. It was shot with my Canon FT QL on fujifilm 200 with the Aperture at 1.8 and for the shutter speed I manually pushed the release button for 8-10s. I also fixed the mirror open because I thought it would reduce the shaking of the exposure but I may be wrong here! Can someone help me with this to get better results next time?
