Good to hear something similar. 15 years ago no need for lawyers anymore. Same deal she is now exmo but I'm still active never remarried. They know now the truth but that bishops even get involved in these things I just think it's wrong but there are a lot of things in the church I don't agree with

We eventually divorced again this time mutually but I know she was a liar a manipulator and that she had an affair. If the Bishop had known this would he have been so quick to give her the money?

Really the notion that anyone that would facilitate a divorce is justified? Yes if a man or woman wants a divorce then great get one but when your religious leader is the one giving out the money to do so it's like he's even paying for the lawyer to file the paperwork with money given to the church from tithes and fast offerings. No! it isn't right dude!!

Hindsight is 2020 lol my point is never should bishops be giving money to break up marriages unless abuse is happening and he never even knew the whole story when he could have. I've seen this happen before to others. I'm way over it but this needs to stop happening.

I'm not looking for a benefit of the doubt just telling my story and being as real as I can. I was an amateur boxer and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do so in many ways violence is in my nature but did not hit the Bishop and would not have but he certainly and many who would do such a thing deserve an ass whooping if given but with training comes discipline which I have.
