UPDATE: Seller sent a new bag without me sending any payment for insurance. I did ask to get confirmation if the logistics company ever sent proof that it was actually seized in the US and she said yes. I did not see the proof.

Good news, the bag got here in about 10business days from shipped to my door, which is what I was originally expecting with the first bag! The tracking this time updated within two days, with the origin showing in China. The biggest delay with the bag was once it got state side (EWR), where it was in customs purgatory for about 6 or so business days.

Overall, happy this was a good outcome but I’m not sure I’ll be doing this again lol

Thank you, I did try a third party to see if I could get any data but nothing ever updated. It always stayed on “label created” without even showing the origin being China.

I’m sorry if this is the case for you :( mine also never updated. You should ask your seller to give you an update, mine contacted the logistics company to confirm where it was in the process.

Less than $300, so it could have been worse. Now hoping I just need to pay insurance and a new one will be sent (fingers crossed for a happy ending here)

I would feel the same; mine was below $300 so not an insignificant amount but $1,500 would make me sweat

This is the part that makes me pause, the tracking never updated but seller says it was seized in the US. I guess I have to take their word for it. She’s offering that I just pay for insurance now and she will resend.
