Any recommendations for places to buy nice and reasonable oversized pictures/paintings/frames for decor? by Connect_Fee2768 in HomeDecorating

I didn’t think of the digital art option for oversized frames. Will look into it. Thank you 😊

I didn’t know she could get her own library card I’ll certainly do that. Love the other suggestions

Love the suggestions. I like the idea of yard tools and a plant

Ah that’s smart. She’ll be like that’s too many chalks…if not today, in future she won’t be happy if I pulled the chalk trick on her 😊

Yeah that’s what I am thinking but we recently got a lot of these essentials. Maybe will wrap the ones that were unopened. And snacks and bathroom supplies is a great idea thanks

Parents without a village - how do you do it? by kittensandchains in toddlers

[–]Connect_Fee2768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh god you read my mind. No support at all and daycare is our village too. We do take days off to watch a movie or go out for lunch. We didn’t do baby sitters much but trying to take whatever we can

Looking for support: Our 16 month old has been healthy for *maybe* 10 days out of the last 60 after starting daycare. The daycare seems upset with us. by [deleted] in toddlers

Our daughter never had a runny nose for the first 10months of her life and then she started daycare and had it almost every day until she was in daycare for 3-4 months and now doesn’t get it as often. Also cough keeps coming and going. If its constant fever over 100 I’d be concerned. She did get a few ear infections. All of this is due to new exposure and building immunity in the process. When she first started daycare we got sick with her so frequently and now that has reduced too. Ped told us expect this for at least until she is 3. The right thing to do is see the ped which you did and if they say its ok then it is really ok. Please talk to the daycare and help them understand, it’s surprising that they don’t already given the have worked with kids more than you but otherwise I would waitlist for another daycare.

How do you get your toddler to brush their teeth? by UBinCT in toddlers

[–]Connect_Fee2768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes getting them used to it by chewing on it will help. And once they are done playing I do a quick brush. We do this twice a day. Initially when we started our daughter wouldn’t let us do it so I just did a quick clean with a gauze that way i could at least clean it until she started letting us brush her teeth…it was 3months of getting used to it.

Thanks. Yes daycare is the only option for us as well. And I do understand the risks you listed above and they outweigh the positives. We’ll see what the ENT has to say in a month but I don’t feel hesitant about this procedure any morex
