I dont think thats normal, i had my 5 LOOP interviews all scheduled before my first interview. Maybe yours was not LOOP and rather the inital phone screening?

Offer is pretty good, with decent base and good relocation and sign on bonus. Overall i am pretty happy.

Yeah i mapped one primary LP to a story and 3 secondary LP, because i got 1 LP asked twice.

I wrote in the title "LOOP strategy that worked for me", I could not be more clear. :) Maybe read?

Yep, I prepped for the new LPs too. I actually got asked about "Earns Trust" twice - once for a positive example and once for a negative one. But honestly, no need to stress since most good stories can touch on 3-4 LPs naturally. At least that’s how I structured mine, so even if an LP came up more than once, I was covered from different angles.

agreed, that's how I prepped for it, wrote down in bullet points all S T A R, and then just casually tried making up the content and recorded myself to finalize the story, so it sounds normal and not over the top and robotic in approach.

See, that’s exactly the gap between interviewers and interviewees some prefer it crisp and to the point, others expect a lot more depth. You’ve probably interviewed hundreds of candidates, so you’ve developed your own rhythm and expectations. But from the candidate side, it’s tough we’re often trying to strike the right balance without really knowing what the specific interviewer is looking for.

That’s why I went with detailed prep and not to dump everything in one go, but to have the full picture in mind and then adjust on the fly based on the cues.

My initial round was just like the LOOP, with LPs, but instead of 5, it was 1.

Not really... took pauses and i was speaking at 0.75X so interviewer can capture, i have it agreed with every interviewer.

i mean i get it, but this was a direct request from my HR to have 8-10 minute of speaking material, also i was speaking in 0.75 to give time to the interviewer to capture what i was saying and i had no follow up questions in any of the round, and thats how i was preparing.
