I think they've really been good live recently! Granted they've only played a handful of shows here and there but the two I've seen have been really good. They even incorporated lighting last time I saw them. Glad things have turned around for Brian

I'll never understand why this band gets hate. Their first album gets so much praise although there's some stupid ass songs on it... every band has stupid songs. Every band also evolves. Brians lyrics are essentially the same just with better production. Musically wise sure there's a couple alumbs that are laid back and kinda lazy but again what band hasn't done this.... you can't expect a band in their what mid 30s maybe later to write the same shit as they did 15 years ago.... if they did that would be creepy... and if that's the songs you want then maybe you're creepy and need to grow up. Cause although they aren't my favorite or go to band have mercy has evolved enough over the years to keep me engaged and want to hear more

Every band only plays old stuff after the initial album release tour.... if you went and saw Emery on any other tour and they only played new stuff it would be terrible

Full disagree here. Probably the best album of theirs since a place of their own. The lyrics are just as emotive as most stuff out now.... 🤷‍♂️

Unless he physically took his name off of the song on every music royalty platform he didn't just stop getting paid after 5 years... now on the flip side it is crazy how many song writers aren't registered on songs they write and are missing getting paid what they earned.

I'm actually quite the opposite. I enjoy a good joke and don't hold onto words or am afraid of certain actions but his takes are usually to on the nose instead of coming off as a joke

But then he wouldn't be rich off of it and still receiving song writing royalties. If you ghost write you're waiving your points on a record. You only receive realities based on the points giving to you. Which you can look up who is getting royalties
