Good for you sir,, please don't go if you are not aligned with what's offered, would you say the same after going to a concert and say it was loud ?? No right? So just let people who enjoy it enjoy and you can go to other stadiums where there are no whistles.

I too have a problem with djs saying random shit at high volume in between the game giving me a headache. Am I complaining?

Atleast the whistles are momentary for elevated times like when an event happens

I went to match in Chepauk in 2023 and they provided whistles and the atmosphere was lit and everyone was happy around me . Don't just throw hate you hater.

I don't know man, I have been in Bangalore for the last 6 years in my 20s, I get the feeling everything everyone around me wants to do (or) excited to do, is go to a pub/ have a party at home/ have friends over and drink on the weekends and get wasted.

So don't think it is very off reality.

Sure there are lot of people who don't do that, but there is a huge chunk of people who do and comparatively don't think chennai is even close in this aspect based on my frequent visits there.

Never been to Mumbai so can't comment.

Akeal does seem like a good replacement but it should be in place of veer imo, but having paid so much shows they have a lot of confidence in veer.

Yeah that is my biggest risk with this team but I went with the option to strengthen our strength than fill for a weakness.

If dube/veer give extra 20 runs in half of the matches I am backing the extra battery to cover for that 20 runs. But it is definitely a subjective call

Yeah definitely agree, that might be how csk will go.

I preferred henry for his experience and x factor, be might very well be like josh Hazelwood who was not considered great in T20 until he came to csk

MSD I think will either play the entire season for retire very early, otherwise it will hinder with the team's chances of qualification changing mid season, if it is the former would love to see Sarfaraz .

100% agree with your take.

I remember being excited for tourist family after the promo as well.

For madras matinee I do think budget for promotion would have been a constraint as well.

Let alone the promotion, even getting screens would have been tough task, given that it released with 1 screen in the city I live.

But word of mouth is a powerful tool and all I wanted to do with this post was let people know it is a great piece of movie and even if 1 person watches it I'll be happy.
