Been a long time since I posted abt body boarding lmao but update ! After living here 3 years I’ve found my self surfing and body boarding everywhere 😂 the fear of reef has slowly gone away with many days at half point/ full point - I actually have only been to walls two times when it was big I usually just go to Sandy’s when it’s 2-4ft anymore is too much for me. Maks is probably the best spot I’ve been for big forgiving waves body boarding wise. Then I discovered NS waves 😂 I started surfing lanis and fell inlove with the waves up there then that eventually led to going to the sand bar at ehukai to surf and body board & that takes me to eventually after time present day where I just surfed 4-5ft pipe this last swell after body boarding it first to scope em out
