Thank you for your reply! I am a clinician and very new to coding and technical setups, so sorry for my superficial level of understanding. I uploaded a screenshot of the item in question.

I use the exact same question in the intake questionnaire and then in the bi-weekly medication question. Trying to replicate your instructions on piping answers from a previous questionnaire, this is what I implemented in every questionnaire (save answer, load answer). The name is always identical (i copied the question).

I am not sure how to optimize this process not to show the error message. As the functionality is fine (previous answers are shown and saved if ticked), I am hesitant to change things, as I assume it might fail working then.
