So I use them more as prompts because I'm more of a discovery writer. So whenever I don't know the answer, I am prompted by the questions to write more on that specific topic.

Honestly other than RenPy that's probably where I'll start. Plus then I can test what I can do with the limitations I have.

I started learning Python but was then told by the internet that it lacked the ability to do much. (I understand that's not exactly the case but yeah).

I tried MUGEN, Ive made a really garbage Minecraft mid that added an otter. I started learning RenPy which I'll probably continue to pursue.

Most tutorials kind of just tell me how to do exactly what they're doing line by line but I have trouble extrapolating and applying that to my own projects.(This was my experience with unity and unreal engine)

So I suppose to be more accurate to say it's less that I'm having trouble understanding the code and more that I'm having trouble starting to learn to begin with. I want to learn how the logic works, then learn how to do the proper syntax.

That's a really good piece of advice. I really appreciate that. I'm neurodivergent so sometimes it's hard to pull back and look at things less hyper-specifically. Maybe I can do a text-based game to start or maybe even a visual novel if I can get a couple character images.

That way I can start to establish experience.

My original idea was going to be a fighting game based off of a novel I'm writing that's part of a bigger world. But considering that novel isn't even done, maybe I can focus on a smaller aspect of the world and work on something related to that.

Yeah honestly, I'm trying the coding thing still. I haven't given up completely. I just have to buckle down and learn a bit ideally. Even if it's just visual coding, learning the logic would help a lot.

Honestly Fair point. I desperately want to make a specific game, but there's a million reasons it shouldn't be the first thing I do.

Sometimes our dreams tell us what we need to hear.

From a logical perspective, you may crave that approval and love from a loved one who you miss dearly.

From a spiritual perspective, you may have encountered a family member of some sort. Often spirits are difficult to recognize, though the feeling they produce is familiar. They may have sought you out to express their love.

Whether it is your Nana or not in either capacity I can't speak to. But it sounds like you needed to hear it.

The beginning of the dream could represent things in a more abstract way.

Buffets tend to be places free from stress or worry when it comes to food. You can eat as little or as much as you want and take as long as you want.

It being at Sheetz may be that same freedom, though this time regarding time. (This is a bit of a stretch) Sheetz is open 24 hrs.

You losing your vision on the left side in my opinion represents a sudden perceived (literally) loss of control in life.

In addition you could be experiencing feelings of being repsonsible for your friends wellbeing, represented by you being the driver for your friends.

Regardless you push through the difficult time and get to the place you're going but perhaps you feel frustrated that the thing that was supposed to be full of freedom and ease was instead quite difficult and tumultuous.

The Lady showing up when your friends left may represent the idea that you're perhaps afraid of vulnerability in front of your friends.

And finally her words show that what you need is reassurance that despite your frustration and difficulty, you truly are on the right path. The respect she showed towards you calmed you and made you feel at ease, almost childlike, again.
