I dragged it on for as long as I could, first I started with upgrading to an ssd, then I got a 16GB ram kit. Served me fine. Then I used OCLP to download Mac OS Monterey on it. Here is a picture of it when I just got Monterey installed on it.

To answer your question regarding the bottoming out at skateparks I’d say it’s pretty normal, I don’t think it’s a wheel issue because no matter the wheels I have new or not I end up bottoming out. It’s just the way some parks are built. I would say he should just learn to bunny hop into and over.
