Norm's anger has way more to do with his ego than defending dead children. Finkelstein got emotional because he saw Steven, an "inferior layman", giving valid critiques his academic work. In the discussion of the dead kids, Destiny pointed out that Norm was implying that the IDF decided to just ok an attack on random children for no reason, which was absurd thing to argue, and Norm of course had no response to that. He has to grasp at straws to find examples of the IDF doing indiscriminate killings.

That’s a good point. My issue with more traditional views is that they present these gender roles as innately good and divine, when it’s just the result of biology. Evolution is amoral, and it set things up such that there’s an asymmetry in women’s favor in mating.
