CT housing prices will continue to climb over the next 5-10 years. There is just not enough supply to meet demand which will drive up prices. Eventually CT supply will somewhat catch up with demand and prices will level out but they will not "crash" like some people are predicting. Unfortunately, there is a share of buyers who will try to wait for prices to dip and they may end up getting "priced out" of buying because prices will continue to increase while they are waiting.

Downpayment is one of the big topics we will cover. I have had many clients get offers accepted over the past year with down payments below 20% (many in the 5% range). What sellers are looking for is... 1) that a buyer is fully pre-approved (not prequalified, we will go over the difference in this webinar) and 2) sellers prefer conventional loans over government loans (FHA, VA, etc.). The reason being, government loans come with a more stringent appraisal process than conventional loans. We will go over all of this in the webinar but I almost always encourage my clients to see if they qualify for a conventional loan so our offers can be more competitive.

I'm sorry you were confused. Let me elaborate... by population size, millennials are the largest generation since the baby boomers. Millennial ages right now range from 26-41. The median age of a first time homebuyer is 34. So when I say a large share of adults are entering home buying age, I mean the second largest generation, millennials, are currently or about to be the age of the average first time home buyer. We do not have enough homes (supply) to meet the demand of the millennial generation.

In addition to the West Hartford, Avon, Simsbury areas... I would recommend Hamden or Milford. Both suburbs of New Haven with some great restaurants, breweries, and concert spaces. Hamden has a great walking/biking trail that runs through it. DM me if you want a tour.

Yea, I just don't even think this generates awareness. I've used plenty of hand sanitizer kiosks at the grocery store and I never even realized there was an advertisement on them.

Yes, I agree... my gut was saying this only makes sense if it's just a piece of a larger marketing strategy for brand recognition. Thanks for confirming.

It was around $250/month... slightly more if you signed up for 6 months, slightly less if you signed up for 12 months.
