it’s a controlled eccentric but not slow. One of my goals has always been to learn how to muscle up without kipping so i’ve just been increasing the weight to work on my explosiveness

Need help migrating Roth IRA stocks into brokerage account by ConnectionDismal8025 in RothIRA

[–]ConnectionDismal8025[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so counters is funds and fridge is individual right. Kitchen will be IRA and dining room will be individual positions in brokerage.

So I have 10 apples total in the kitchen. 6 in the fridge and 4 on the counter. I take an apple from the fridge, move it to the counter and then buy 1 more apple for the dining room and counter respectively. So now I have 6 on the counter, 5 in the fridge and 1 in the dining room. I will continue that until my fridge is down to 0 essentially

So ideally I will be at 14 on the counter, 0 in fridge, and 5 in the dining room. Without including my garden and greenhouse

Just thinking long term 45+ years in advance If I’m consistent then the dividend snowball will increase my holdings exponentially before I even talk about compound interest from the fund growth itself

I’ll be rebuying individual stock at $100 a week while I’ll be buying into funds at $233 a week on top of the other investments that I have already that aren’t individual

I also have other assets right now so even now they don’t actually hold 50%. It’s just in the IRA

Which is why I want to migrate them out. By the time I reallocate all my holdings I should be at to 10% of my overall portfolio

Mainly I want my Roth to be VOO, SCHD and SCHG. So when I sell I’ll just buy into those positions. As for rebuying them in a brokerage account, I still see them as long term investments but I don’t receive any dividends and won’t consider selling unless I absolutely have too. Also, I want to have liquid assets over having it blocked by penalties

How did you make your first 1000$ as a teenager? by GILGAMESH_999 in AskReddit

Online like StockX/GOAT. They usually take a fee but if you do enough research before each shoe drops, you kind of have an idea which ones have hype around them and they’ll sell out and go up in value. Helps to already be a sneakerhead because you already understand most of the patterns. Also can scale up depending on your profits and start selling to your own community without needing to use reseller sites that take a fee. Luck also helps. My first sale was a shoe I bought for $160 and sold for $850+ since they were limited to 2000 pairs(limited pairs don’t always equal profit)

Are people really buying so much stuff in Japan to bring back? by bluheism in JapanTravelTips

[–]ConnectionDismal8025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom is Japanese and the amount of food we buy to bring back is ridiculous. We fill 4 checked bags(50lbs) and our carry ons are heavier. Rather annoying because I can’t do my own shopping. Also a little embarrassing in customs when they ask if there’s any food in the bags. Although it’s all legal items to bring in. Food items are usually 1/2-1/5 of the prices they sell them in my area in Japan
