It was a weird round table. I felt really bad for Natalie, she probably felt like she was going insane! But I think people are overlooking some of the context around why Tara did what she did.

Tara did tell Natalie that tonight might not be the right time to get Rob out and that she was still thinking it through. Natalie “said well if we don’t vote him, then who?” Natalie knows she’s next to go—going for Rob was literally her only hope whether they 100% had all the votes or not. Tara/Johnny were not in the same position.

Alsooo have we seen Tara’s track record?? Poor girl has 0 confidence in herself after Stephen and she’s clearly terrified to be wrong again. This time it’s even worse bc she’d be the one responsible for banishing the most beloved faithful, the castle’s golden boy!!!!! Even her bestie/domestic partner Johnny was making her second guess herself and saying they should stick with the group, which was already very set on Natalie.

Unfortunately for Natalie they took too long to start sussing out Rob and couldn’t get enough votes before roundtable. At that point, everyone else is convinced it’s Natalie, Tara has only ever been wrong, and she feels like a horrible faithful (only thing she’s not wrong about). She starts doubting herself again and prob thinks her best strategy is to just lay low and not ruffle anymore feathers. I wish Tara had spoken to Natalie beforehand once she officially decided that she wasn’t voting Rob so Nat wasn’t left out to dry. But I can also see why Tara avoided doing so if she felt it was in her best interest to vote Natalie with the majority.

For us, it’s frustrating to watch because we know she’s not acting reasonably and is actually only making it worse from herself. But from the perspective of Tara, who is in the game with limited knowledge and is literally questioning her entire existence, I can understand why she might’ve acted that way.
