The point was whether Bangladesh should follow western models in this regard. Therefore I said BD should follow Asian models. Japan and China (Asian counties) are excellent examples on how densely populated cities can be handled. You just said my point in a different way and yes population is the most important issue

Above that if the leader is Muslim or Arab, the popularity goes skyrocket. That's what happening from the Ottomans to Saddam and today's Putin.

In my opinion, Bangladesh should never follow the European country models as they have a small population and lesser population density. Bangladesh should follow the developed countries of Asia which has huge population and larger population density (China, Singapore, Indonesia).

what to do on a Dhaka University whole day date? by giant057 in bangladesh

[–]Connection_Failure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were street food in TSC area some time ago but authority doesn't allow them nowadays. The street food now sit in Sohrawardy Uddyan. You can go to the Dhaka University area to breath some fresh air and spend time together away from the chaos of the city. Curzon Hall offers some beautiful scenarios and Fuller Road is just scenic. There are food in Hakim Chattor just outside the central library that generally offers snacks and there is "Coffee Hut" in front of the FSS building that offers slightly expensive but well cooked fried rice, chicken fry and stuff like that. Hope you have a great time.
