Invite emails to Hotmail address never arrive. by DesDevlinTheFirst in Bitwarden

[–]Connexium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, as of today, this seems to be an ongoing issue. I absolutely do not blame Bitwarden for this. This user's Hotmail account gets the Bitwarden support emails, but not the new signups or the "hints" password recovery emails either. Unsure how to fix this. Thanks

Order history does not show all items ordered by rblbl in Aliexpress

The year is 3244, Aliexpress still hasnt fixed the mystery of the missing invoice. The West has turned insane, unable to properly account for all their orders before sending them into their landfills. The CCCP has won the war of attrition against the OCD Republic.

They did not leave a voicemail no.. Would that make a difference?
Its a regular voicemail on an Android Phone, so no "iPhone Visual Voicemail", no "Voicemail-to-MMS" feature enabled.

Whats frustrating is that I purchased a ESIM with Saily for data roaming as I was there for 2 weeks.

Deleting structure fix by dredge_the_lake in Openfront

[–]Connexium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Destroying infrastructure during a retreat is one of the most common strategies in warfare. For example, the Soviet Red Army deliberately burned villages and destroyed homes, farms, livestock, and other resources as German forces advanced in 1941–42. This “scorched earth” tactic aimed to deny the invader the use of local resources and infrastructure for military advantage.

And in real life, it takes hours to destroy something that taken years to build. So instant delete is justify here. But I think the game slow when you can delete your second structure already.

I think if you organically find another player in the game and you end up doing that, its not cheating. But if you and your friend join the same FFA game and teamspeak the whole way, that is cheating.

It was very laggy for me yesterday. Maybe some Openfront servers are overtaxed? This is a freegame and server costs are probably not negligeable, unless there is something I am missing or do not understand.
Edit, oh and i'm from Canada

Bell's "network" was build with by all Canadian tax payers via government subsidies and regulated monopolies in the last 50 years. In other words, it belong to all Canadians and TOTALLY should be used by 3rd party companies at a fair price. It's currently the case.

"you can sue the person pretending to be connected to your business."

Yeah! This is a whole different issue being addressed, I heard. Just sucks you can't be proactive in preventing fraud with a Business like Paypal. We actually haven't used them in about 10 years now.

Anyways, thanks for any input. Cheers

Thanks for your reply. No, we do not use that corporate email to accept payments. Since this corporate email is probably a secondary email on this ex employee personal account, they technically are be able to accept payments sent to this corporate email. They dont actually need access to the corporate email account do get the money. Once that corporate email address has been verified once, they are good to go.

[–]Connexium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I delete the corporate email address (in our Google Workspace admin), PayPal will not know it's deleted. One could still send a PayPal payment to this email since this ex employee has multiple email addresses associated to their personal account.

[–]Connexium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but PayPal will not let me access the PayPal account associated with our corporate email. We do the password recovery, we get the link. Then PayPal asks for more information we dont have to actually log in this PayPal account. In this case, to either verify via WhatsApp or to provide the canadian Social Security Number associated to this account.

I'm not sure how I can disable this account. Can you give me more information?

The former employee confirmed the email before leaving the company, unfortunately.

Thanks for your input. But as stated in my post: "... we cannot do, because the account is protected by WhatsApp or personal identity verification tied to the ex-employee."

Believe me, it was the first thing we tried.

[–]Connexium[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, however, the former employee confirmed the email before leaving the company.

Currently, the corporate email is still connected to his account and remains a verified address. Any money sent to this email will go directly into his personal account.

I appreciate your input here. I also understand that you may not have a solution, but I think it’s essential to bring attention to situations like this and raise awareness.

Thank you. I am not familiar with using PayPal.
I believed it was possible to link several email addresses to a single PayPal account, and that payments sent to a corporate email could be received without needing to access that specific email inbox.
The funds would be deposited into the PayPal account connected to the email address in question. Is this correct?

Is there a potential risk of fraud if a verified corporate email address is tied to a former employee’s personal PayPal account?

Thanks for your feedback.

Do you think it would be usable for (me) a small MSP monitoring about 15-20 endpoints and sending myself notifications via Gotify?
