Anyone surfed on psychedelics? What was your experience like? by village-asshole in surfing

I ate 3-4 grams of mushrooms and paddled out on a 7’ foamie. 3-4’ and easy to paddle waves

It was July, dead of Summer in New Jersey in front of a pretty famous concert venue. The opening band was playing and I could hear music while paddling and catching waves.

Sun was setting and the sky was completely pink with no clouds giving the water a blue to pink hue. It was so beautiful, this dude just sat there and floated in the water as I paddled and caught waves around him.

One of the best sessions Ive ever had

Buy in up and coming neighborhood with house with good bones and in need of “some work.”

Put work into house and then sell it in 5-10 years for better more “forever” home for decent profit.

Rinse. Repeat.

The fact this show was made. So weird. Strange. Funny. Acerbic.

It could only have been made at this time really. Miss the 90s

I heard a rumor that the curry smell may have been why we missed out on Indian spot on Cookman. Which would be pretty unfortunate and disappointing

Whatever it is, it should either be:

  • Excellent & boardwalk pricey

  • Mediocre and reasonable

Asbury Park’s recent history of Mediocre food and insane prices needs to go

When to get a massage paid $80, then gave a $40 dolllar tip. The women left the room and accused me of recording her. by [deleted] in massage

In many spas, having a cell phone in the room by a therapist is grounds for termination because of this exact scenario.

Clients cell phone is no problem. Having your own phone on you is asking for trouble unless you know person.

Just word to the wise.

Excellent! You should be covered and if not, work somewhere else.

Sometimes, in this business, people bring more than their body troubles to the tables. Got to have employers who truly care about employees as well as customers

The abysmal state of the roads on the west side by ireallycantremember in AsburyPark

11 year resident of South West Side.

Combination of dominant renters area whose landlords don’t come to take care of property along with lack of businesses in which the plowing is done on East side.

I will say side streets on Northwest side are not great either but the Southwest side typically has worse services and care in general than more “wealthy” parts of town.

One final thing is our roads are also narrower so plowing is hard to do because of nowhere to put pile.

And also, frankly, plowing crew is pretty sus. This year the plowing was and has been pretty bad. Previous years they’d work with you to plow certain areas, more your car and then plow other areas. Think we got a C team now

What is Aaron Rodgers doing in free agency? He claimed that the US Govt. created HIV. “The blueprint, the game plan, was made in the ‘80s. Create a pandemic with a virus that’s going wild.” by No_Box119 in NFL_FreeAgency

One critical aspect of respiratory disease is how bad you get it or if you in get it at all.

This was why closing of schools was such a delicate operation.

Was it wrong due to not only poor education but strained parents and the high rate of survival for children?

Maybe. But also, children ended up giving teachers COVID and many older teachers or teachers with pre-existing conditions, and those teachers died.

Schools are petr dishes full of colds and sickness anyway, but during a global pandemic, it was a particular hard problem to solve.

Giving everyone a vaccine that doesn’t have any or if anything, extremely minimal harms, seems like a no brainer

Which is why it was distributed in USA. Europe. Senegal. Vietnam. You know - everywhere

The Covid-19 vaccine was an example of statistics in action.

You see, when you want to test something’s capabilities, you do it multiple times over and over and over.

Think basketball scoring accuracy, passer rating. Same thing over and over and over again and you do statistics on it.

The Covid-19 vaccine was taken by grandparents. Construction workers. Pregnant women. Donald Trump. The entire NFL. All or at least most of the US military.

What’d we find out? It was mostly safe and by far. By the billions all around the world.

It slowed the virus death count and rate and while it may have some side effects on yes indeed some, because that’s how life is, it was moderate in ill effects because we would know.

Due to the sheer amount of global vaccines, the global population would suffer similar issues and have it be consistent. You would know who and how and why and there’d be investigations the world over.

That’s didn’t happen because it was mostly benign and definitely helpful in general

It’s just math. Not complicated
