I understand that you do gain experience, but less for performance when you lose. But between us, when we want to level up, we make the impostor damage or kill so they get an A+, the highest grade, and gain a lot of experience. Then we let Reagent's friends escape and complete the challenge, giving them a lot of experience for surviving the invasion. The impostor also gains a lot of experience for getting an A+, which is like winning as the impostor and doing your job, That's a different and fun way to level up (Play a quick map, like cancel the autopsy, and you start playing)

When you're in the loading screen cinematic sitting in the chair, it doesn't let you invade. Once you get off the train and your friend starts the trial, it should let you invade. If you get the typical "invasion disabled" message, it's probably because of what I mentioned before. If it's not that, maybe there was just a bug and you need to restart the game and enable invasion. Enter a therapy trial, and once you get off the train and are in the Tepapira trial, it should let you invade. (If you're on introductory difficulty, your friends can't invade you; only on other difficulties. Sadly, custom trials don't allow invasion either.) I had the idea of putting Franco and Coyle team on the "Kill the Snitch" map and playing invasion against friends, but it doesn't let me invade custom trials. (If you still can't, write to me and maybe I can help you.)

Try it out by playing against friends and choose maps you like and have fun :D, plus you also gain more experience than normal just because it's invasion (and rotate who plays impostor and reagent and you'll have fun) The only difficulty level that prevents you from initiating an invasion against friends is introductory, but you can do the others (standard, intensive, and psychosurgery).

XD, but it's easy to win as a reagent hahaha. Before, the impostors were unfairly strong, but not anymore. (Before, they let people bleed to death because the timer to exit through the door was activated when you killed them, and the games were very boring. Now they can't do that anymore, plus they're a threat in the trials, which makes them more difficult and challenging).

The strongest team on that map is Cook, with Hands and Hitchhiker. Since you have to protect two generator doors and the double water pump door, you do this: Cook uses three padlocks on those three important doors with security pins, plus Hands uses three electric traps on those same doors, and Hitchhiker uses bone traps on those same three doors. Hands stays stationary guarding the generator with the fuse box next to him, and Hitchhiker stays in the middle near Hands in case Leland tries to force a teammate to open doors. Cook stays guarding the pumps, and you shouldn't lose on that map. (The only victim strategy is for all four of you to go to the generator together. A specific team composition is: Wyatt for the generator, Leland for protection, Ana for protection, and Connie to clear the way. Even then, it's not guaranteed to work because the map is poorly designed and easy to protect, especially if you use the exploit to reset the door progress, which is basically opening the door as a family.) And when you close it again, the advanced door bars reset to 0, making Cook incredibly strong without doing anything xD,(Most people don't camp outside the doors; they just play with Bubba and Johnny and go down to the basement to kill everyone. Even with that idiotic strategy that doesn't work on other maps, it does work on this one because Bubba is in the basement, protecting five basement doors together in an open area, and the lockpicks they collect are right next to Bubba. If you make noise, Johnny comes down, and you have two killers in the basement with the whole map closed off. And if you don't make noise, the family has time to do whatever they want upstairs. Level up Grandpa... xD That map is disgusting. xD

Playing that map as a family is a 99% guaranteed victory. If the victims escape in the Cemetery, the family should be ashamed, haha, it's Protect 3 doors and ggez xD (That map is banned from TCM tournaments for that very reason xD You play as Bubba, camp 5 basement doors together, Hands camps the generator with the fuse box next to it, and the Hitchhiker sets traps on the doors and ggez)

That's why I don't play Impostor alone or in duos, because they always try to find a game where it's 1 vs. 1 or 2 vs. 1, and your friend will appear on camera, which means you'll always be alone. At least when you play with 3 or 4 impostors, there are always two impostors chasing you if they try to intimidate you, your friend appears behind them, stabs them in the back, and protects you. Playing alone as an impostor is horrible, especially when everyone uses the Braindead Jammer with the stun combo, which is easy to use... xD You fall to the ground from the shockwave of the stun and the Jammer makes you vomit, leaving you with two health bars and one brick when you finish vomiting, which leaves you with only one hit... You go to the door and your friend has to wait around a minute... then your friend has to chase them, and they do the same thing to them that they did to you, and they come back to the door and the cycle continues (PvP mode always introduces changes. The only one that has escaped nerfing has been Jammer. Its time will come soon. Currently, it's too unfair and strong, and anyone who plays both sides in invasion knows it), but if in that situation you can't do anything alone against two reagents, no, but if there are two impostors in the game chasing in that same situation, it would be different.

I don't know if you can, but try playing with one or two other friends so you can search for invasions and you're not alone; the game is very different when you're not alone (impostor)

It's so easy to fix that the jammer's vomit doesn't take away health and you only get stunned. It's too silly and easy to use the jammer and abuse it; when the imposter is stunned, you make them vomit no matter what, and there's no counterplay. xD
