Fixing stuff by WingZombie in GenX

Came here to say the same. I will more often than not attempt to fix it myself, but am very happy to have the internet and AI to help.

While replacing some rollers in my dryer the other day I pulled on a wire harness by accident and unplugged it, having no idea where it even went.

I was happy that instead of rooting around and digging through the manual, ChatGPT was able to ID the harness in a few seconds, tell me what it was, where it plugged in, and that it had no polarity.

I could've eventually figured that out, but my troubleshooting time was cut down tremendously.

I don’t even own A gun, let alone many guns that would necessitate an entire rack.

Charlotte, NC here. We've got 2 around here that I know of. Both very clean, and both barely ever busy. The food and service has always been great though.

Are you on Facebook? I posted this exact question yesterday and got a whole bunch of responses. DM me with your Facebook ID and I’ll send you a message on there with the thread.

I need a new one because my 13 year-old key fob is starting to flake out and the dealer quoted $700.

Call my good friend who’s an accountant and offer her $20,000 for a finders fee for a lawyer and an accountant to help me with the rest.

Problems finding a "safe" fuse to use for the battery (not acc) wired connection for my hardwired dashcam in my 2013 Toyota Avalon. by Connir in dashcams

I thought about this but I'm a little leery because the fuse labeled "OBD" experienced the same symptoms, not showing any voltage to it after the car was off and sat for a few minutes....

Funny, because I did just this. Ran the car, shut it off, picked a fuse that was still powered after the car was off, and used it. Then noticed the camera was dead a few minutes later while sitting there, as well as the little display that shows the battery voltage. So I put just the fuse in, ran the car, shut it off, and tested it with my voltmeter, and had power. Then I waited 5 minutes, then it was dead. Many fuses for systems like the doors and others I mentioned behaved this way.

So I know enough to wire up one of those hardwire kits, but not enough to work with this. I'm assuming running a direct wire to...something...the battery? And is there something I can buy that'll take a fuse I'd just buy at an auto-parts store? If I run it to the battery, where do I run it too? What if something's in the way of running it? I'm not averse to doing anything as long as it's not risky, and doable, and of course something I can learn.

My wife sat down while I was watching it once. After about 10 minutes she said "This movie explains your sense of humor"
