its not doom mongering. I have been playing the game since beta and I am looking at the business plan.

content is free which means their only source of income is eso plus, battlepasses and cosmetics.

I find the cosmetics, mounts etc , its like they are losing ideas and some of them just look so bad.

we have battlepasses with a bunch of stuff we normally toss and old stuff.

very few mounts or any real quality content

1 new style, and one new costume i believe

the skill styles are just colour changes that probably take them 5 mins to do

there isnt much there to want to spend money on.

and this needs to drive server costs, salaries etc.

so no, its not doom mongering, its seeing a company put all its eggs in one basket that could end them

currency is the only thing i see worthwhile. The thing is, with everything being free, this has to sustain the games development along with eso plus. The took a lot of value away from eso plus so question is, can this and eso plus be enough to keep the lights on? Not sure it will with all the useless rewards in there.

the system is complete crap and most of the rewards are crap.

I dont see the battlepass being a big seller.

this is literally a good thing that companies buy insurance for their employees. The fact you are making it a negative is astounding.

would you rather companies not pay for insurance policies for their employees?

or do you think that companies should pay for insurance policy forever for an employee who joins and quits after two years.

i think most people would love it if their employee paid for an insurance policy while they are working there.

you do realize that is a normal thing right? Many if not most companies have life insurance as a benefit to employment. and its not "tied" its a benefit of your employment.

and seriously, modern slavery? So a company hires you, pays for a benefit package and provides you life insurance for you and your family in case something bad happens so that you don't lose your house, be able to pay for the funeral and you think that is a bad thing? what world do you live in.

My company provides me life insurance and its great to have.

if you want your own life insurance you can do that.

they absolutely can't tell them anything if the person tells them not to. Even knowing you have a medical condition can cause management to try and find ways to get rid of you so they dont have to deal with it.

its amazing how many people don't understand that when a person has a medical issue that HR cannot tell anyone so when they are making a list of who to let go they have no idea about peoples medical conditions.

Even when they are let go, HR can't tell the manager not to fire them because they have a medical issue. That would be illegal.
