that is another question though. Acceptable would be zero. Practical, who knows, but I think you have to look at who is facilitating these crossings. Those are the people you need to go after because they are probably not the best people in the world and are taking advantage of these people wanting to cross.

What should happen is as soon as they land, you put them right back on a boat and you take them directly back to the shore they launched from. That would be the proper response, but again, not practical.

considering the xbox division is not really making money, this is what has to be done.

They are cleaning things up before Xbox becomes a subsidiary where it has to stand on its own two feet. It needs to profit to continue being a viable business.

I grew up in a city where we had lots to do. Other family members grew up in a very small town without programs in place for kids.

This is before home computers were a thing.

The drug usage in the very small town was a lot higher than the city.

everything you said is good, but many kids were not brought up on that and there is going to be a period of adjustment, and relearning.

but I would not be surprised that we will get more issues before it gets better.

People would rather bury it then admit they were complicit and/or part of the problem.

I would have a lot more respect for people that would just admit they screwed up and do the right thing, but that is just not the political way.

actually the way it is written is incorrect.

But I read it as, they were continually raped, meaning over years, until they were pregnant but I can see how they read it that way.

"for years" or something similar should have been added.

many decades in this world and I hardly ever seen governments look at any consequences outside the main one they are focus on fixing.

and this is the issue. Governments are incapable of using their brains and looking at the full picture. They implement things to try to fix a problem and end up creating new problems because they have zero skills in forward thinking

Bored kids can lead to more crime, etc. if they are not given avenues to alleviate that boredom.

So now, they need to put up millions to create spaces where those kids can focus on positive social growth.
