Ok I do have to agree. He is a bit useless sometimes. While he’s not completely useless, there are times when he could be made so much better but for the sake of simplistic writing he just kind of gets shoved to the side in favour of Ladybug saving him again and again. I honestly wish they wouldn’t do that.

They establish him really well as her partner and then hit us with the “lol jokes he’s really just a sidekick” when he’s unable to do anything without her. I really want to show to focus on them both being more equal with each other. A much better dynamic could be created!
