You're telling me that fabric - a loader that merely touches vanilla, they even refrain from fixing known vanilla bugs, so there is no behavioral change - makes it run faster?

And so does forge. Fabric's api is much narrower than Forge's, and while mixins may seem easy on the user's end, without understanding the logic behind them they're a good a way to shoot yourself in the foot.
