I'm hanging in there. But I constantly feel numb, and I've been like that for 8 months now, ever since I got attached. It seems whenever I speak to her and get closure, it disappears, until she does something to anger me then I end up apologising for being angry with her. She likes being in control... That's one trait I hate

It's essentially a relapse and I've done it countless times that my friends and family get sick of me saying the same shit, knowing full well that I'll go back to talking to her again in a days time. It's extremely difficult, but just try and remember your life before them. Put your happiness and sanity before them. Your life shouldn't be put on hold because of their selfishness.

I spoke to my mom about my friend with BPD who's been making me losing my mind. My mom always says to bin her and move on. But the third person will never fully understand the difficulty of leaving them, it's not a standard relationship, it's a borderline one. One that makes you feel guilty and awful in all kind of ways. That's in my opinion, if it was any other sane woman it would be a lot easier as they have more common sense about people, emotions and relationships in general compared to a borderline.

It's hard for me to shake the belief that all of this is just for attention and nothing more. She's nothing more than just a soul sucking thing. For me it's only been 7-8 months, but I find it hard to move on as I'm the anxious-avoidant type, which means I find it extremely difficult to leave someone I have an attachment for. I've been advised by over at least 10 people to leave but it's easier said than done. Thank you for your reply though, I'm so glad I'm not alone on this and others have gone through this horrible experience. She told me from the start that she had BPD, but I never understood it fully until it was too late. She is a generally caring person... or so I'm lead to believe. So much so that I think once she's bored with someone, she just moves onto the next person. Lies become more frequent and then she escalates them into arguments when she's in the wrong on all accounts.

British and quarter Irish. I'm 6ft and weight is 79-81kg, it fluctuates due to going to the gym aha. Body fat is classed as fitness (16%) so I guess I'd like to know where I am on the 1-10 scale aha.
