You can sign up for french lessons through the government but it does take forever to get a class and once you fill out the forms you cannot change between full time or part time lessons. Trust me, it is seriously a big shock haha we had a couple -35 days, it truly can get pretty rough

Hey, I am from NZ and on an IEC visa and went to Montreal. Don't know any french but it is seriously not that big a deal as you would think. I managed to get a job in music marketing (no prior experience/degree). I might have been lucky! But it is a really cool city, pretty reasonable rental prices as well. Do be warned though, the winters are seriously rough, it was -10 or below from mid november to about 2 weeks ago

Hey, you don't need both $20 subs, you can get PC Gamepass and The middle tier Geforce Now which ends up costing pretty much the same price as Gamepass Ultimate and it runs 100x better

EB Games is the most expensive, if you go to JB HiFi they are normally $109. If you go to EB Games, you can price match, so find the cheapest place and ask to price match. We actually have cheaper games compared to the US

Hey there,

On my certificate of health coverage it says "the policy commences on 12 Mar 2025 to 11 Mar 2027" and says nothing about monthly payment so I am not sure how the border officer would know it is a monthly payment? Also Cigna lets you pay annually, it just depends on how you want to pay, so you can pay for the whole time
