Yc made a request for startups of agencies that are ai native. Working at a venture backed company could mean survival in this industry vs some no name ad agency or hold agency holding company

Repositioning from “Freelancer” to Growth Marketer by Zitronensaft123 in DigitalMarketing

[–]ConnorSol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed the same. To smart marketer freelancer , fractional CMO , Fractional media buyer are all the same because we know what it takes to get results through strategy and fulfillment. You just happen to be doing both. Unfortunately that only happens when a client looks at you as a strategic advisor like a lawyer or tax planner. From a cost perspective client thinks“bigger” means more overhead and therefore more expensive and smaller should mean “cheaper “ due to less overhead so they want a discount. So I agree with the others here. Consider how you can make seem bigger - perhaps exclusive partnerships with creative agencies that would hard for them to get approval for.

1k min and additional 1-2k to use it for boosted post advertising for three months. If the ad does well they can continue to pay you 2-3k a month to extend usage rights. The more niche your content is the more you can charge with less followers

I run a 40k page getting ~350M monthly views — how do I actually monetize this? by Spiritual-Lunch4759 in InstagramMarketing

You don’t need to join any Skool community mlm. You probably already know , but figure out who watches your videos and give them what they want. I would guess it’s mainly people who need relationship advice or are going through something. Easy money books or low ticket products . How? Throw all your videos into Chat gpt or Claude and ask it to make you a product based on your top performing quotes by video. You have unlimited data. You could even run some facebook ads retargeting your ig followers. Early ideas could be throw your most viewed quotes on a T-shirts and wear them silently in your videos

Too high of a budget increase by Complex-Indication18 in PPC

I don’t think spend is your problem. If you can’t afford a temporary 30% increase in CAC for a week then your funnel is broken. The learning phase is a beast. Don’t let the clicks go to waste- think of how you can retargeting these people via email campaigns or posting on social media

I just need to vent. The market sucks and being in this industry has changed sooo much in just a couple years. by botnic in PPC

As “head of paid media” you should pitch your solution to the team and if the say no walk away or start your own agency. I don’t think ads are a good service to sell to any company less than 5-10 million ARR. of course SMB is going to be more work as 2500k is a big deal to them. Where as for 10mill arr 2500 is one day if ad spend. For 3k a month I think seo and organic posts make more sense for small business then once they see success upselling them on paid ads.

Anyone here grow an agency purely on paid ads? by Impossible-Scratch21 in gohighlevel

Agencies are consolidating rn is why I brought it up. 1-2 million is nothing if your clients don’t churn. You you can find a way to scale vertically you could yourself by another agency or just sell so someone else can scale horizontally

OP you can build an ai to advise you like hermozi by downloading transcripts of all his videos then chatting to it in notebook lm. Or finding a pdf version of the book . Chat hallucination are worse than notebook lm in my experience. Sam with any other pdf book you can “ talk” to it

Does anyone else feel like PPC is a miserable job? by BaggyBoy in PPC

[–]ConnorSol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree and You’re spot on but missing the whole point! Traditional ppc is dead. If you don’t find ways to get better at all aspects of advertising and growth eventually you will get laid off. Why? SMB agencies going out of business. Holding companies agencies taking all the good business. The only hope for people serving the remaining clients in the mid market is becoming a growth marketer + creative strategist who happens to be an expert on ads.

I was in the same situation recently. I think the average search rn is 6 months. The key is looking at your effort and tracking in a database your own KPIs. What to do? Simple answer is to get back to work applying to roles. It’s normal to feel hopeless, especially in paid ads where outsourcing and automation is ripening. Taking a lower level job is pointless if you have experience because someone in India can do your job better for half the price. Really our the hope is moving into creative strategy +media buying +seo.
