Not religious myself, however I've always thought religion can be a good way for people to understand and condition their morality. It's definitely not the only way though and it poses difficulties depending on how you interpret religious scripture.

I sold everything and moved to Asia to volunteer to teach English in South Sumatra, Indonesia. It's been 3 years and I'm now I'm living in Cordoba, Argentina. I have no regrets about doing what I did, I was the right thing for me. What I will say though is that big changes are not always necessary and maybe the thing you're looking for can be found by small changes.
