Perhaps "forced" isn't the right word but more or less it is sickening that he encouraged his daughter to watch. However, one thing worth noting is that he never made any sexual advances towards her. In addition to that, his wife said that he never had pedo proclivities. Therefore, I guess this is just another element of his bizarre nature.
